Scaling up Life science in Southern Sweden with SmiLe and Medicon Village

About the project

To meet the needs of scaleups primarily related to SmiLe Venture Hub with a Pilot programme providing the required expertise needed to upscale Life science companies.

Maintain and strengthen the network and presence of life science startups and scaleups in Skåne/southern Sweden.

To position SmiLe Venture Hub and Medicon Village as a highly attractive place for ideas to incubate, scale and grow into life science innovations that benefit patients and society, by providing support and networks across the life science innovation value chain.

Purpose

Support our participants in their efforts to scale-up and become a high growth firm the following 3 years, in terms of ; Increased turnover or number of employees (20% per year). Improved operational/ customer/ employee metrics.

Short description

A 12-month program, consisting of 9 educational modules covering the identified needs of the participating Life science companies. Education will be both on site at Medicon Village and individualized digital session in between the Modules.
