About the project

Fundament4Future focuses on supporting early-stage companies in building robust scientific, technical, and strategic foundations that are essential for long-term success in the life science sector.

The project is led by SmiLe Venture Hub and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERUF) via the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), as well as Region Skåne.

Purpose

The purpose of Fundament4Future is to strengthen the participating companies’ capacity for research and innovation. Through targeted support, the project helps the startups progress their internal development projects closer to market readiness.

The initiative aligns with the region’s strategic priorities by reinforcing early innovation capabilities and supporting sustainable growth in the regional life science ecosystem, contributing to future health and environmental sustainability.

Short description

Fundament4Future supports seven life science startups in advancing their company-specific projects. Through this initiative, the companies will gain essential knowledge and capabilities that bring their products closer to practical applications in healthcare, life science markets, and sustainability.

Progress will be monitored continuously, allowing potential challenges to be identified at an early stage. This enables timely adjustments and ensures that each project develops in a structured and efficient manner toward its defined objectives.
