The program runs over 8 weeks, from Tuesday to Thursday, with a week on-site in Germany, a full week of industry input, concluding with a Bootcamp Demo Day. Applications are now open and reviewed on a rolling basis.
WHAT’S THE PROGRAM LIKE?
The Bootcamp provides valuable support in a group or one-on-one setting, with a mix of live and recorded lectures, expert Q&As, panel discussions, personalized mentorship, and pitch trainings. Each start up gets access to a personal mentor and pitch coach that provides support throughout the program. Included is a chance to network and interact with peers and partner experts as well as have open doors to Europe’s top two biotech hotspots, Munich (Germany) and Medicon Valley (Denmark and Sweden).
What you get: Valued at over 40 000 EUR, 70 mentoring sessions by over 50 business coaches and experts, assigned personal mentor and pitch coach, on-site visit to life science hotspot in Germany, access to Merck award and Merck digital platform, peer network, large industry network and Demo day pitches.
What you commit: Full participation in mentoring sessions with your time and peer feedback. We don’t ask for any equity, and you pay zero program fees. After accepting a spot in the program a no-show fee of €500 applies.

Application
Who is eligible to apply?
An entrepreneur, a scientist, a professional, a founder or a CEO committed to attend the full 8 weeks of the program, with an innovative business idea in BioTech, Pharma or Drug Discovery. We encourage more than one team member to participate.
Do I need to have a registered company to apply?
No.
I don’t fully understand the application questions. What should I do?

I have submitted my application. What happens now?
You should have received a confirmation e-mail (if not, please check your spam inbox and contact laura@smileincubator.life if necessary). Once we have reviewed all of the applications you will receive an e-mail with our decision.
Can my application be written in Swedish or German?
The program is all run in English, but applications in Swedish and German are accepted.
Program
Is the whole program online?
No. We will run 6 weeks online and two weeks on-site. The first week will be on-site in Sweden and the final week will be on-site in Germany. Note, travel costs will not be covered by the organizers.
What constitutes the 8-weeks the program of?
Activities held throughout the day, Tuesday to Thursday from October 3rd to November 25th, 2022. This includes a mix of live and recorded sessions, expert Q&As, personalized 1:1 coaching and skills training. There are also networking events where you get to interact and connect with key people in our community.
What makes this program unique?
This program is a unique collaboration between SmiLe Incubator Sweden and BioM Germany, where the two leading biotech Incubators give access to their expertise for free. Including not only expert from our networks but industry players in a online-onsite setting.
We are two or more on the team. Can we all participate?
There needs to be one account per idea, meaning that one person is responsible to create an account. One person per team needs to be committed to the program. To be able to grow as a team we recommend more than one team member attends the program.
I can’t attend all of the sessions. Can a team member participate for me?
Yes, with the exception of the pitch training.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes.
